I bought the metallic versions as I'm having ankle swelling from surgery and all my dressy shoes go completely around my ankles. These looked like they might be more forgiving so got them when on sale. I'm in love. The heel is just enough so I don't feel unbalanced and they are super soft inside. They don't feel constrictive and there is enough 'space' so my ankle isn't squeezed. can't wait to wear them. Might have to get the black ones too.
