I’m in Melbourne & love to visit the Northcote warehouse outlet store which has terrific sales & a big range of styles to choose from. rnrnOn a recent visit I was hoping to find a casual sleeveless vest for in between weather wear. Lo & behold I found it it this gorgeous cornflower waterfall drapey style Boho vest. The material is soft & cuddly against the skin. Plus the style so versatile, with the option to dress the look up with jewellery for a wine bar dinner or down for a Boho music festival or cafe date. Flattering for all body shapes, stunning colour & a lovely plush feel from the soft drape of the fabric. One of Taking Shape’s better designs!
More than for Summer!
I wore this on Friday for the first time and received a few compliments. I had bought it with the idea that it would be good for Autumn or Spring rather than in Summer as the name suggests. It gives a bit of warmth at this time of year when days and evenings can be a bit cooler. The model wears it on the top of her shoulders but I wore it more like a shawl covering the top of arms. Gave me that extra warmth without bulk. I tried the dark blue on in the store but thought it made me look a little larger so I'm pleased with the lilac. Happy with my purchase.
