Hummingbird dress

This is a lovely dress to wear now that the weather is cooler. I am not sure if it will be too hot in summer. Its long but not so long that trip over it when I am using my walker. Also I'm not sure if I'll have to let out some of the elastic so the crossover doesn't gap so much.

Love the style of this dress since I am bigger in the bust than the waist. Though longer sleeves would work better for me. Maybe near elbow length? But very cute and nice! Maybe some more A line dresses with darts too!

Vibrant loveliness

The picture doesn't quite catch the gorgeous, vibrant colours of this beautiful dress. The fabric is so soft and the dress is fully lined. I used the size guide to work out the best size for me (18) but went with a 16 which was plenty big enough, based on previously ordered dresses. It's hard when there is such inconsistency sometimes so go with your gut instinct. I'll be wearing this dress everywhere.

Finally a dress with shape! Us large busted hourglass shaped ladies have been hanging out for dresses with shape; this pretty dress pretty much fits the bill. Mostly roomy in the bust with a stretchy waist that gives a nice shape. I say mostly as while its a huge step in the right direction, this 16G lady would appreciate even a little more room in the bodice.The cotton fabric is lovely, light and soft, perfect for Australian summers. The print “chefs kiss”. However, be prepared to wash the dress prior to wearing for the first time as it has that chemically smell that all cotton clothes made in India seem to have.
