Welcome to the Style Tribe: By purchasing, redeeming, activating, or using a Taking Shape Gift Card (including physical gift cards, digital and e-gift cards), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Playing by the Rules: You agree to comply with these terms and all applicable laws. Our Gift Cards must always be used in a fair, honest, and respectful way, never in a misleading, deceptive, or unlawful manner.
Who We Are: These terms govern the relationship between you and TS 14 Plus Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 69 032 764 154), trading as Taking Shape.
2. Purchase & Delivery
Denominations: Our Gift Cards are available in different amounts as stated on the Takingshape.com website for Australia and New Zealand customers only.
Receiver Details: When buying online, please double-check the recipient's details (especially their email address or postal address). Taking Shape is not responsible if a Gift Card is sent to and used by the wrong person due to an incorrect email or postal address being entered at checkout. Responsibility for a Gift Card passes to the purchaser or recipient upon delivery to the nominated email address or physical service delivery address.
No Double Dipping: Discounts, promotional codes, and loyalty reward points cannot be used to purchase Gift Cards.
No Resale: Selling our Gift Cards to anyone other than the intended recipient is strictly prohibited. Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards.
Digital Card Delivery: Your digital Gift Card will be sent from Taking Shape on the date you choose. Allow 2 to 24 hours for the Gift Card to arrive at your nominated email address.
Physical Card Delivery: Gift Cards can be purchased in-store or online. Physical Gift Cards purchased online will be delivered by post. View our delivery times.
3. Redemption & Limits
Currency is Key: Gift Cards must be redeemed in the currency in which they were issued.
Australian Dollar Gift Cards can only be redeemed in Taking Shape Australian Boutiques, Clearance Stores, and the Australian Website.
New Zealand Dollar Gift Cards can only be redeemed in Taking Shape New Zealand Boutiques, Clearance Stores and the New Zealand Website.
Myer Exclusions: Our Gift Cards cannot be used or redeemed in Taking Shape concessions located inside Myer stores. You can't use a Taking Shape Gift Card at Myer Online.
How to Use: Simply enter your unique Gift Card number and PIN when prompted at the online checkout, or hand your card/digital barcode to our friendly styling team in-store.
Pay the Difference: If your fabulous new outfit costs more than the value of your Gift Card, you can easily pay the remainder using another accepted payment method (such as credit card, PayPal, or cash in-store).
Gift Card redemption may be temporarily unavailable during system maintenance, outages or technical failures. We are not liable for delays arising from such events.
4. Balances, Expiry & Value
36-Month Validity: All Taking Shape Gift Cards are valid for 36 months (3 years) from the date of issue. Once those 36 months are up, any remaining balance cannot be refunded, credited, or used.
Check Your Balance: Want to know what is left to spend? You can easily check your Gift Card balance online by logging into your Taking Shape account or visiting our Gift Cards page.
No Top-ups: Once a Gift Card is activated, no additional value can be added to it.
No Cash Out: Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash, and the card's unredeemed balance cannot be converted to cash at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with a Gift Card is limited to the remaining balance on the Gift Card. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer laws.
5. Returns & Refunds
If you decide to return or cancel an order paid for with a Gift Card, the refund will be given as a credit to spend at Taking Shape.
Split Payment Returns: If you paid using a mix of a Gift Card and another payment method (such as cash or credit card), the refund will be split across both methods in the exact same proportion as the original purchase (for example, a purchase made with a Gift Card and cash will be returned as a credit and cash).
Our Gift Cards hold real value. Please secure your physical cards and keep your digital card numbers and PINs strictly confidential.
No Replacements: Lost, stolen, or copied Gift Cards cannot be replaced, refunded, or reissued. Taking Shape is not liable for transactions made on your card if it has been lost or stolen.
7. Fraud & Security
Suspected Fraud: We want to keep everyone's shopping experience safe. If we have reason to suspect fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorised activity associated with a Gift Card, we reserve the right to place an immediate hold on the card, cancel your order, or cancel the card entirely.
No Liability for Fraud: Taking Shape is not liable to refund any value from transactions completed with a Gift Card that we reasonably suspect was obtained or accessed through fraudulent means.
8. Changes to Terms
Taking Shape may update these Gift Card Terms and Conditions from time to time to align with legal guidelines, operational updates, or to help prevent fraud.
If we make changes, we will update the terms directly on our website, and they will take effect immediately.
In the event any of these terms are invalid, all other terms are to be enforced by law.
The laws of Victoria, Australia, govern these terms and conditions.
