Beachy!
I love the airy, beachy vibes of this dress. When I first tried it on I was so disappointed that the drawstring hardly does anything (and as usual, TS designing for pear-shaped women, meaning it's smaller up top than it is on the bottom - if it wasn't for that I'd order down another couple of sizes, and I'd already ordered down 2); but once I got over that I realised that it's actually quite flattering - before you decide against it, turn side on ladies. I thought all that extra fabric would make me look pregnant, but somehow doesn't. rnrnYes, it is a bit see-thru, but I always wear undershorts (and a bra). If you have issues with sheerness (or like to go full commando all the time 😉) then don't buy this dress. But I see this as a casual, beachy (possibly resort) dress anyway, so I don't think that's a deal-breaker. I'm headed up north for a week soon and this dress immediately made my packing list. rnrnThis is the second dress I've bought in this fabric and I love it more than the first one! Even though the first is a better fit (for my proportions), I find I'm more comfortable in this one; which is fine, I was using the other for more dressy occasions - this one is more everyday usable. rnrnI also love the pockets of this dress, just the right height and usable - my other TS dress, in this fabric, has pockets but everything except hands and tissues fall out. rnrnYou will feel light, airy and floaty in this dress. And happily the colour and design isn't on-trend, so it can be used for many summers to come!
See through disappointment
Loved this dress in the photos. The fabric feels lovely but unfortunately the dress is extremely see through. Sadly I sent this one back.
Stylish summer
Staff at the Rockingham store were so helpful with the purchase as my elderly mother could not be there to try it on. The dress is beautifully easy to wear. It is so well cut. My mother looks lovely in her stylish new frock
