Cotton Pintuck Floral Top

I bought this top last year and have only just now worn it. It is a very good top to have, fabric is soft and light, style is classic and can be worn on very hot days as well as cooler ones due to the sleeves. Normally I’d not wear a sleeved top when weather is warm, but as the style is cut loose the wind blows through it.Brilliant colours too.

I ordered the size 22 in this, which is my usual size. It's got so much extra material in the body area that it feels,like it's more of a super loose beach top or something. Would be embarrassed to wear it out of the house without a vest or something over the top to add a little shape or definition. Plus the material is extremely transparent, which defeats the purpose of having a nice cool, breathable material, because now I'll have to wear an extra layer underneath it- who wants to have to layer like that in summer in Australia?

The colours are gorgeous and the style is perfect but sleeves are to the wrists on me as I am only 158cm tall. The material is very thin cotton and unfortunately it is too hot where I live to wear a cami underneath. Regrettably I will have to return this top.

I received this top last week and was surprised at how sheer it is. You definitely need to wear something underneath it. The dying is a bit patchy near the seams with this fabric. Despite this it is a pretty top that will get a good amount of wear.
