The Taking Shape x Elverina Johnson collection has arrived! A highly respected Gungganji Gurugulu woman from Yarrabah in Far North Queensland, Elverina is one of the Nation’s most recognisable and accomplished artists. Enriching the fabrications with Elverina’s bold prints and traditional storytelling, invites the wearer to engage with culture and country. These two original designs were hand painted by Elverina, both exclusive to Taking Shape. Her vision was then interpreted by the Taking Shape designers and brought to life in this stunning collection.

Sip your morning tea and coffee in style with the Bunya Yaji-l Reusable Cup. Inspired by the rainforest and mat and basket weaving techniques of the Gungganji women. These traditions are deeply connected to culture and represent the strength of the women and community. This reusable cup is made from ceramic with a silicone band and lid – easy to wash, and will add a pop of colour to brighten your mornings.

Gorgeous BUT
I think I already remarked on this item. So I highly encourage this item as a gorrrrgeous pencil cup for $9. Its weighty so not easy to fall over and the print is stunning.rn As for coffee - its a bit heavy. The rubber attachments don't lose their scent. There is a small hole in the bottom of the cup that fills with water if you put in the dishwasher and is almost impossible to get all the dishwater out of it. Hand wash only.

Gorgeous BUT
So the print makes the price worth it. It's so pretty. What a shame the rubber scent does not leave and so I cannot use it for sipping through and the weight of the cup is excessive. There is a tiny hole in the base of the mug that fills the mug with water if you wash it in dishwasher. Do wash by hand only. I'm giving it 5 stars as the mug is now my paintbrush holder and people love it. Blessings on the designer - more please but reduce weight and spend money on the rubber.

love the cup BUT
love the cup but not overly impressed with rubberly lid. Rather flimsy and is not a good fit. Hard to get it to fit on which is not good if you have hot coffee in the cup.
