Flattering style
Flattering fit & style. The sizing is generous. It has a sheeny finish. I didn't choose this originally, the sales assistant handed it to me in the change room. I was surprised at how flattering it looked on, better than everything I'd chosen. Looks great on. Some of the stitching was a bit fragile around the tighter chest areas & needs reinforcing (perhaps from being tried on too much). Was discounted fairly for this. Surprisingly nice on, worth grabbing while on sale.
Colourful & Versatile
This colourful shirt/dress/duster is a super shiny viscose. It is tailored in at the waist so I had sized up to a 22 (usually a 20). When buttoned up there is no pulling across the chest or waist. It is mid calf on my 161cm frame, the fitted sleeve and collar are sun smart and not tight. I havent washed this one yet so cant comment. Overall a very versatile garment. Great value for money.
Great suggestion from TS assistant
Not my intended purchase on the day and I was doubtful when the assistant brought the dress to me but I tried it on and loved it. I have purchased a shirt dress before which is also a favourite but this one is even better, its more fitted, but not tighter, gives a great waistline.
Dress
I bought the dress because it looked really good on the rack in the store, I first wore it to a funeral, I didn’t want a depressing black and it was a warm day, I wore a coordinating lightweight jacket with it and felt very smart.. the next occasion was more low key and wore it this time as a lose shirt over a white tee and crop pants. Again very pleased with the look. I am extra happy with the versatility, add to that it was available at a reduced price rn( below $100.00) so winner all the way, love this kind of dress and its suitability for all occasions.
Love this style
I first saw this shirt dress at a TS fashion parade and loved it. I waited until the price came down and purchased it. I new the colours were different to the online puctures but still loved the style. I bought the size 22 thinking as it had no stretch I would need more room for my 20H bust. I could have bought size 20 and still been comfortable. I particularly like the collar it hides skin tags and sun spots which I am quite conscious of covering. I recently wore this as a dress on a very hot day and was cool. I had a very different experience from previous reviewers.
