I think you're clever to find different ways to wear this dress, but I actually meant to wear this dress UNDER the pinafore not over it... The black and white top does look cut off, hence it becomes the under shirt of the pinafore and it's longer than most pinafores available so you will get the lacey pieces showing under the pinafore. Thank you for your idea and tips. (at this incredible price, you could even take one layer of underskirt off and have it a bit less bulky.)

So I got this just to play around with it. It's discounted at such a low stakes price. Upshot? Well I'm normally 28 but got the 24 and the size covered me fine. So for a winter outfit I followed the other ladies advice and used the light black pinafore (viscose/ elastane one) under it. However I don't like feeling cut in half just under chest with the colour change from stripes to black netting. Sooooo. I'm going to modify it. I'm going to rusche one side of skirt to give it an edge. I'm going to wear a cropped black huggy bomber jacket zipped up. It's a bit black so I will accessorize with the green jungle TS crossbody bag, a green bakelite vintage bangle and patent leather boots and fuzzy green or black beret. Am I the only one who dreams of designing for TS? Hehe. Thanks TS for keeping us loving our bodies.

I took the advice of both the previous reviewers and snapped up this incredibly well priced little gem. So now I'm a sassy stylish old woman in a quirky outfit of layered mesh, stripes and sleeveless overdress. I look and feel fantastic not to say Edgy! Go on, try it.
A very unusual outfit
You know what........I've decided I will wear what I want.rnPerfect very different outfit and I love it. Of course I get all sorts of responses - most saying ' lovely to see mature lady wearing what she wants ' and you know what...................who cares what anybody thinks. I love it.
