Above The Waves Dress

This dress 👗 arrived by post today, I am very pleased 😀 with the colours but more importantly, the length! Thank Le bon Dieu it is not down around my ankles like so many of the TS dresses 👗! Being 160 cm almost ALL the dresses 👗 are too long on me, so when I find the few that are this length it’s good. I note some reviews complain about their knees showing and they want two lengths etc, but as most of the Taking Shape dresses 👗 ARE that length, spare a thought for us shorter girls. Also, I don’t mind if my knees show, they might not be “pretty”:but they’re my knees and I like them uncovered - why should teenagers have all the fun 🤩?!

I purchased this dress recently.rn The colours really appealed to me.rnI also liked the three quarter sleeves for this time of year.rn The fabric is also very comfortable.rn Every time I wear it I get comments on how nice it looks.

This one will be worn for many years to come. What is not to love about this colour combo? Perfect with a number of TS cardies and coats (purple, green, black) and just the right length (I am 1.65m). It’s fitted at the top and looser around the bottom - my usual XS fits well - this material isn’t as stretchy as bamboo (which is a good thing). rnIt complements my red hair and brings out the eye colour (it’s all the green and blue tones). Very happy!

I'd read the mixed reviews for this dress, but was drawn to the colours and decided to purchase. So glad I did!!! It fits perfectly and the colours are rich and vibrant. I've worn it with black leggings, purple tights, blue tights and have received compliments every time. The big front pockets are perfectly practical for a work dress. Love it!!!

This dress has amazing colrs which drew my attention and I had to buy it, the fit was perfectly except for the length , it would have been too perfect in a Petite range.
