Returns

We’re pretty sure you’ll love everything you receive from Taking Shape, but if for any reason you’re not happy with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days of the order dispatch date. You can return most items for any reason, but before returning an item, please read about returns and exceptions in the "Returns Policy" section below.

Returns policy

  • Item/s must be unworn and unwashed, returned in the original packaging and in a re-sellable condition.
  • All labels, swing tags and hygiene strips must still be attached.
  • Items purchased from our Online Clearance Outlet cannot be returned or exchanged, unless faulty.
  • Refunds will be issued in the original method of payment and may take 14 working days to show in your account.

Due to hygiene restrictions, earrings, face masks and hosiery are ineligible for return.


How to action a return

We have partnered with Global-e to provide an international shipping service that allows customers to shop and pay securely with local payment and currency options. Follow this process for your return to be processed by Global-e, for all orders delivered outside of Australia. Please contact our customer service team here for assistance.


  1. Enclose with your item/s inside your parcel.
  2. Create your pre-paid returns label here
  3. You will be prompted to:

    • Log in to the returns portal and enter in your Order Number along with your email address.
    • Choose the item/s you wish to return selecting the reason code form the drop-down menu.
    • Select the return method and print the pre-paid return label and affix to the outside of your parcel.
    • Once you have printed the Return Label, affix it securely to the outside of the package
  4. Organise Drop Off or Collection with DHL Express here.
  5. You will be prompted to:

    • Select your country from the “Choose your location” pull-down menu
    • On your country’s DHL page, find the DHL Service Point Location for parcel drop-off or collection. OR
      Select “Contact DHL Express” and call the local phone number to schedule a parcel pickup

Please note that the cost of shipping your return to us will be deducted from your total order refund.


Ordering a replacement item

Unfortunately, we are not able to exchange item(s), if you wish to exchange an item(s) please do not send any payments or exchange requests with your returned goods. Please first return your item(s) following the above process and a refund will be issued to you. Then place a brand new order on the website for the new item(s) you require.


Faulty items

We endeavour to provide all of our customers with high quality products. However, if you believe your item is faulty, please contact us so we may resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


Return Costs

Please note that your return will be pre-paid and that the cost listed below, of shipping your return to us, will be deducted from your total order refund.
