Very attractive top
Bought this jumper while on a good special. Love the colour of oatmeal and navy, will be good with a Merino underneath for extra warmth during the cooler months. I like the fit as suits my shape. Hopefully will wash and wear like all TS tops do.. very pleased with my recent purchase.

Finally long sleeves
I'm so happy that this top has long sleeves. For some reason most if not all of TS jumpers and knitted tops sleeves seems to be quite short and or are 3 quater sleeves. Thank you TS for finally making longer sleeves!

Light and lovely
I bought this pretty jumper in the navy with yellow spots. It is light for the early Spring/Autumn. Perfect! Unfortunately I bought it in Autumn and it got too cold to wear it in Adelaide in winter. However it is lovely when you want a light long sleeved top, feel the heat or work in too warm aircon. I can wear it with a light fitted cotton spencer or a skivvie/ mock neck top underneath if I feel like I need extra warmth. I would have worn it before now if I wasn’t home so much and I didn’t want to ruin it around the house. I’m enjoying it today in the September weather. It’s a medium size and it fits me loosely. I’m an hourglass shape and a petite in height. It fits me beautifully and it’s just as I would hoped when I bought it, new on the website and full priced. Not all types of Stripes Are good for me so I hesitated with this one but now it’s $39 I might buy it. I am a Small (16) these days but the medium in this is a good loose fit hiding my midriff spare tyre nicely. The shoulders are not oversized, I fold the ribbed sleeves back once and they’re then the right length for me. The buttons are an elegant touch and don’t emphasise arms, instead they seem to flatter my shape and add something extra to the look. The ribbed hem isn’t gathering in the hem or making it puffy and blousy but It’s straight and loose which means it doesn’t emphasise my belly and the splits do the same and add another lovely touch too. It is not clinging in this size and because of the straight cut at the bottom and me being short it’s good because I don’t have excess material bulking me up at the hips and thighs. The length is below my bottom as I like it not like a dress like some others. I do find that TS caters for all sorts of shapes and sizes and sometimes it’s disappointing when you really like something on the models but it doesn’t look the same on yourself. Different fabrics work well on some people while others work better on myself. What arrives and looks unflattering on me looks amazing on my colleague so I encourage customers to try different things and not to be too disheartened or disappointed because they will find things they really like. I am glad I can try things on in my own home and decide rather than trying half the shop on and feeling guilty if I haven’t found anything that particular visit. I can always try on in store if I really need to. Thank you TS.

Large & Unflattering
I'm not sure why, but of late, it seems that TS has two levels, or quality standards in its clothing lines. Firstly, there are the various staples, timeless, beautifully crafted and cut, using fabulous, sometimes decadent fabrics producingrngarments that instinctively stand the test of (fashion) time. Then, the pendulum swings all the way to the opposite end of the spectrum, manufacturing garments that seem to have been all but thrown together, using poorly considered fabrics in conjunction with what appear to be, second rate manufacturing processes and little quality control. These appear to care little for quality, sizing, cut, style and the reputation of the TS brand. The second characterisation is so true of this particular 'jumper,' that doesn't resemble, not even a little bit of what it purports to be.rnWhen I initially saw this knit, I really loved and wanted it, and when it went on sale/clearance, I immediately bought 2. Another BIG online buying mistake on my behalf.rnUnfortunately for me, I wasn't able to return them, so they're on their way to the local charity shop. Such a shame.rnrnThe fabric is flimsy and thin, which results in the jumper clinging to your body in places where you're trying, unsuccessfully, to disguise the lumps and bumps. The neckline gapes open, and the featured (?!) buttons don't really serve any purpose at all, other than to cause you increasing frustration as they pop off, on a regular basis. The sizing is wildly inaccurate, almost bordering on voluminous. I'm usually an 'M,' but I'm sure I could have gone down 2-3 sizes and still have had plenty of loosely fitting jumper to wear It's shapeless, formless, unflattering, lacks pu3 and very disappointing. The word 'jumper' is, to me anyway, a misnomer. It's not much more than something to wear when the Summer's throw on when the night air cools.rnThis Winter (Melbourne), I've purchased no less than 5 knits, all of which have been epic failures for different reasons. I've come to realise that most of the jumpers are not even remotely warm enough for a chilly Melbourne Winter. Not evena the little bit.rnIf you're wanting a jumper that provides an extra layer, this one may be helpful. If you're looking for warmth, cosiness and a little luxe, I wouldn't dare recommend it. You'll probably end up leaving in your wardrobe where it's hidden, or it will end up as my two did...off to the charity shop. I've been a TS addict/fan for almost 10 years, but it seems that buying an item online often results in a waste of money and time. Lift your game TS. Please??
