Idealist Lounge Trouser

I’m disappointed that these lovely pants aren’t suitable for me at all. This is because the leg shape from the knees down is too curved/very rounded and wide. A very bad look which is not meant to be. I’m just not tall enough for them to sit right and as intended! rnHad I been a tall lady it would have been alright. Because I’m short the very curved width meant to sit on lower thighs area, knees and calves sits from my knees down to my ankles and looks awful - Ridiculous and unflattering. These would be so lovely on the right person. They come to my ankles as a full length pant. If I was taller with fuller calves they’d fit like on the model and be super roomy and comfy. The fabric is trans seasonal and a good thickness. rnUnfortunately I can’t return them as they’re clearance. I’m not sure who I could give them to! rnThey fit beautifully around the waist and tummy and hips in my usual size 16 (S).rnThey are black with the tiniest pin point white spots and look dressy and good quality but can be dressed down.rnrnIf I could somehow I would give these to a customer who missed out on the size because they are lovely but sadly not the right shape and cut for me unless they were made in PETITES maybe. I tried out of curiosity, pulling the fabric of the lower legs up higher on my legs until the wider part was at the right point and they looked ok then but tailoring would be too involved and expensive. I could also have the legs made narrow and straighter but again too expensive. I could make them into peddle pushers too. I’d totally lose the style so I I think I have to find someone who would like to have them. I have avoided the lounge style leg styles for this reason but thought I’d give them a go at this price. Wish they fit me as intended. I think there is a similar style in the petites range actually. I will have to check. It’s good to try because so many things look good even if they’re not specifically for Petites. I’ve been very blessed with my TS wardrobe and it’s all about learning what works for me and giving things a go when I’m not sure.

These are smart casual pants, easy care and handy for the warmer weather. They are a large fitting, tapering in around the calves. I like them but would have preferred a straighter fit.

Formal yet very trendy with generous leg room going smaller near ankle area nearly looking like mini harim pants, different and so comfortable for all seasons.

The description for these pants states that they are a 'winter' must have and that is the main reason I bought these pants. I definitely wouldn't describe them as winter weight pant (I bought the black fabric design) as they are not a thick fabric, great for spring and autumn. I am approximarely160cm in height and they are ankle length on me. The fabric design is nice and the fit of the pant is flattering. They are comfortable and easy to wear, however the pockets do pull open on me.

I was so looking forward to receiving the pants but was surprised when I opened the bag. Was expecting 'white microdot' but instead found a textured modified animal print that's black on black. The fit was exactly as described and the quality is great but I already have pants and a jacket from past seasons in the same fabric so I will be returning them. Have already notified T/S of the error and they were very gracious as always!
