Linen Swansea Crop Trouser

I can’t believe there hasn’t been a review of these pants before. I was surprised by the course weave as in the picture the fabric looks quite fine. That’s not a problem at all. They are not see through and feel lovely on. They will be so great in the tropics in summer. I bought both black and grey, as well as the matching tunic in green. Best of all, no linen creases.

I took a punt on these when on clearance, and certainly won! I was slightly concerned if pants would be see through as I could see the outline of the model’s leg, but they are absolutely fine. Not see through at all. Perhaps with the sun behind me, like photography lights, leg shape could be glimpsed. The fabric is much thicker than I expected, although still very light. Not a fine, floaty linen, this material is quite coarsely woven, but still soft to wear. The legs are nice and floaty. I am a 16, but decided to go up another size and purchased 18 as linen is not stretchy. I am sure 16 would have been fine, but due to this style, the size 18 does not look too big and is probably going to be much more comfortable in summer. I bought both black and grey and am very happy with them both. I also bought the Swansea tunic in “lapis green”, which is nearer to a Kelly green. Lovely colour and looks fabulous with the Swansea pants.

I loved the feel of these on and bought another pair in a different color. Can be dressed up or down they are really versatile.

These pants were just what I was after for the hot weather in Adelaide. I ordered the grey and when I wore them, they were so comfortable, that I also ordered the black. They even have pockets!
