Dark Colours

This coat looked alright on in-line but in real life it is very dark, too dark for me. I find coats of today just don’t have the pizzaz of king ago when a coat was meant to be worn as an outer garment - with a jumper or cardigan, and the sleeves sleeves were cut wider to accommodate them. Finding a coat big enough to cover the boobs, means I have to opt for a larger size and then the shoulder are too big and doesn’t suit this customer.

The colour, the pattern and the fit are fantastic ...did I mention the length and the softness and feel of the fabric!rnI am waiting for cold weather to come so I can wear it - until then I just longingly look at it hanging in my wardrobe. Green checked coatigan

I missed out on the grey one last year because I have too many coats and cardies but couldn’t pass on the green one. It’s beautiful, not too bright, and true to size (14 is nice and comfortable when buttoned up). It’s just a lot warmer than I expected, not that it will be an issue in Melbourne. I will just have to wait a bit longer to wear it😊

I agree with the weight of this coat, it is nice and light to wear and has an edge with the large lapels. Seems well made and should last.
