Crystal Velvet Necklace in Navy

Further to previous review—— I ended up buying this fully expecting it to be too long and sadly I was right! It’s now been posted back as I don’t know if it would have suited anyone I know or if they would have appreciated it enough to give it as a giftrnrnIt is gorgeous! Just as pictured and artfully 20s and would look stunning with tunics and dresses. rnrnSadly, like many of the long necklaces, for me this one also reached my navel! Not comfortable or a good look! rnVery disappointed as I really loved it and it would have glammed up my blue garments. Loved the Art Deco style and dark blue velvet is just wow!!!! rnrnI looked to see if I could adjust the position of the bling bits or a way to shorten it but I would have ruined it. There’s no clasp so I tried tying a knot in it but the crystal bits sat around my neck and were scratchy and didn’t look right. Removing the two top ones would lessen and potentially ruin the look of this style and the rest of it is still too long. I looked at possibly moving them down and it appears that after each crystal segment there are loops of sewing thread wrapped around the velvet keeping them secure so I would have had to cut each one away and redo them which I might have successfully done or botched it up totally so I thought someone else can enjoy it as it is. rnrnI wish you could make 2 lengths in these longer style necklaces too. One size for petites. Please please TS! rnrnI’m still waiting for the gold deco crystal necklace which I suspect will be too long as well. I ended up buying it too. I already have the earrings and ring which is also too big on all my fingers but I kept it anyway.

I have adored this since it was first available but being 5.2” tall this would come down to below my navel and look silly. I’m so disappointed as I love this style. It feels Art Deco/1920s and so elegant and something very special. I love the blue velvet, it’s just exquisite! If only I could shorten it somehow without ruining it ?????!!!!! 🧐😞❤️

Didn't realise when I purchased this, just how nice it would look. Cant have been very observant when purchasing as the cord is blue velvet... so suddenly, I have this wonderful piece to go with my navy dress. Looks wonderful. Also looks great with my red dress and yellow dresses (all purchased during these great sales). this piece is actually quite simple and elegant. one of my nicer pieces... great price too.
