These earrings are gorgeous. I was worried about the translucent nature of this but it doesn’t look plasticey or cheap! They’re simple elegance but my concern is the hook that goes through the ears. Unfortunately they arrived a bit squished as they were one of two pairs of earrings and no garments to nestle them in between in the bag. I have purchased several pairs with this particular style of hook and it’s a weak material which is very easily bent even wrapped in bubble wrap and garments around that. These arrived with one squished quite badly, almost straight. I tried to gently re- curve it into shape and nearly snapped it. This happened with a couple of others Like the red plastic hearts some time ago. Please consider changing these hooks for a better quality one. Please use maybe the other one with the little ball at the front that looks like an S. These are stronger. The price of these is good. I read the review about the colour fading and I thought maybe that was caused by perfume or hair spray???rnTake care with those and hand sanitisers as in my personal experience these can be very damaging to surfaces or fade colours and make them start to dissolve or become dull and sticky, particularly with delicate plastics, metals, rubber, leather, wood, crystals, etc.

Loved these, but they lost their gorgeous smoky colour very quickly, only after a couple of wears. They are now 'crystal clear'. (and both lost their colour at the same time.)
