This is beautiful material in this top, however, it is spoilt by not being a full piece of material front & back. It spoils any outfit joining two pieces on the front & back of a garment unless you match the print on the material. Doing it this way wastes a lot of fabric, however, by simply cutting the front & back out without a centre joining seam would have looked so much better. Unfortunately I wanted to buy this top as I love the pattern print on the material, however, I hate what Taking Shape is doing by joining seams, particularly with patterned material, as it is so unnecessary & it is definitely not a 'fashion statement' the way that they are continually doing this. I can't see why their briefs have to be joined on the centre back now as Taking Shape never did this year's ago & their outfits, including underwear,were better made.
