Madison Boiled Wool Coat in Burgundy

So I have it now.rnGreat coat, I can usually size down in coats but this is true to size.rnThe comment about the pockets is correct but there is no where else to put them so I don’t mind a bit. rnI would buy more Color’s if there were some.rnVery warm and nice. Glad I got it!

This wasn’t one of the 4 coats I bought.rnIt’s warm.rnIt’s wool and it needs dry cleaning.rnTrue to size, has stretch.rnThe button had fallen off the one in store, that said it won’t put me off it completely it will remain on my wish list.

Please consider adding a Petite AND voluptuously curvy size 20+ model on a permanent basis as this will help a lot of people gauge what suits them for EVERY SINGLE garment alongside your taller models, as other stores/brands do. IE. Feature both models in photos of each garment in stock. Please. It would help with the online guess work! rnrnKate helps a lot but she is a tall, column shaped, slim 18 and does not model every item. rnrnI am 157cm tall and I also find one button closures sit at my waist instead of at or below the bust and fold my sleeves back just as much as Deborah has. About 5”!!!!rnrnWhy do you not cater more for your PETITE customers TS?. We are plus sized too but on a smaller scale! I am a very long time customer who buys something or several items very regularly. Often weekly! Yes, I love clothes, etc and it is my “drug of choice”. I have found since your changes I am also now going to other stores however they are not always satisfying and you are my No1 fave still and best fit in so many of my clothes. It is on fact an issue. rnrnMost styles you choose to make into petite pants styles are NOT the styles I buy (except for Editorial and Best Friend Jeans and Jeggings where I do buy Petite) or do not & cannot because they are too big/long. Occasionally regular size pants styles will suit my figure and I may be able to hem myself. rnrnToo many tulip dresses this season. Most of them. So annoying and disheartening. I would have bought the black velvet and a few others appealed too. I need more A-Line styles and not much longer than 110cm which is mid calf length on me. So many I have are just above my ankles. Your velour dresses are floor length but I will (have to) shorten or keep for a wedding (good luck as no one is getting married any time soon!). rnrnI cannot buy tulip styles. Curvature roundedness and too much fabric is at my calves instead of at the hips and thighs! rnrnMy Valour dresses are all ankle or touching the floor length! I am getting frustrated and sadly fed up with paying for Express Post returns and tailoring!

This is a gorgeous coat, one of those purchases that you can keep for many years if looked after properly. It is soft to wear and has beautiful lines with the front princess seams. The wool is soft and has give in it, allowing for natural and unrestricted movement. Love the back half belt and the discreet pockets as well. Stylish colour that is feminine and timeless.

For $350 we should be able to buy POCKETS THAT ARE BOT LAZILY PLACED IN THE SIDE SEAM. Your side is going to be out of reach the higher the sizes go up, a painful oversight for a plus size fashion brand and shows how little thought goes into some designs, but no doubt this is a cheaper product for you to produce!
