The elastic at the back did not suit my shape so I removed it now it is the perfect shirt dress. I love it very pretty.

I just wanted to say how pretty you prints are TS designers. I am loving spotting little hints of Australiana like the sulphur crested cockies in this Mara Shirt dress; Kangaroo paws mixed into the florals in the Natural Zara top. Stunning stuff!

I think this shirt dress is so pretty, until… I look at the back and see a gather right in the middle of the back. More and more I feel that TS are catering mainly for the pears amongst us - within waists accentuated while wide hips and bottoms are concealed. But my hips are narrow and my bottom is small. All my bulk is above my hip bones, front and back, with no waist to speak of. A back waist gather (or any other back detailing, like a seam, or a band) only highlights my lack of shape in this area, and gets caught up in my lumps and bumps. If this dress had the sleek flowing lines at the back that it does at the front I’d buy it like a shot!
