Back to wearing some burnt orange again - this used to be my go to colour range! Good weighted material for cooler days. Smart and so very comfortable. Good length. Nothing to complain about. Recommended.

Surprise package - try this one on!

Passed over this one online, but it went home with me after an instore 'try-on'. Good fabric weight and feel for winter layering, or on its own for indoors or trans-seasonal wear. Like the quirky prints, but would have preferred the orange/black to have continued all the way around this top: the ecru/black print is great at collar, cuffs and the bottom edge, but it's a bit boring across the entire back of this top. Went with the lower of my usual two top sizes. This will get a lot of wear with plain black pants and jackets. I might even team it with the matching pants, but only if topped with a long black vest to break up the print and avoid a 'clownish' look...

Gold Foil print?

The description of this garment clearly states ‘gold foil print’, so I didn’t order it online. But looking at the top in a boutique I can’t see any gold details at all. So if a bit of bling is a deal-breaker or a deal-maker for you, that’s something to be aware of. It’s a nice top, good length, fabric is a good weight, attractive prints, flattering - I would definitely have bought it except that the lighter colour and yoke seam on the back accentuated my own very wide back.
