Tidal Wave Shirt in White

Bought this for daywear and it is great. It is cotton , it is smart and so good on hot summer days with shorts or crop pants. Highly recommend.

This is, at first sight and wear, a beautifully styled, classy and chic piece that I bought, not as a summer cover up over bathers, but as a lovely statement piece to dress up with a designer silk scarf and some lovely pieces of jewellery. rnThe first time I wore it, it fitted so well, with a highly flattering flow to the garment. I received quite a few compliments, so I was even more chuffed.rnThat all changed the moment I washed it, by itself in cold water, without wringing it out on a high spin and hung it on a hanger in the shade to dry, as per the recommended method. Once washed, it barely resembled the gorgeous garment I was so eager to wear. The fabric is flimsy with no body or substance to it, the shape has changed irrevocably and everything that made it such an exciting, knock-out piece to wear, is no longer. Despite trying to iron some substance back into the fabric, as per the recommended method, the only thing it's good for is to wear when doing housework or sending it to the nearest charity shop. Again, I've spent money on a garment that is not worth anything close to what I paid for it.rnCome on TS. Your excellent reputation for stylistic, quality and well priced clothing for full figured women is starting to diminish with garments that bear no resemblance to what they should be. Disappointed yet again. :-(
