Good fit, pockets in the wrong place

I ordered this dress online, beautiful colours, a good fit, until the pockets sit in the wrong place, when you are a pear shape, the last thing you need is pockets on the hips that accentuate your hips more, a real shame, I had to send it back or pay a seamstress an extra $25 to remove them, what's the point, how about trying to put the pockets on the front of the dress so the hips are not added with the extra bulk????

Love the material, colours & design. Fit is true to size & the frill adds a little kick. I’m not a big fan of the circles, it makes me feel like a beach ball. I would love this in different sized vertical rectangles intersecting.
