Beautiful & Elegant Dress

I got this dress for a wedding, it is so elegant to wear I had lots of compliments, I recommend this dress.

The photos give a good idea of how the dress will look. Purchased to wear to a Summer wedding but found it to be quite thick and think it won't be suitable for a hot day, so I may have to find something else to wear as a backup. One of the photos has the wearer with a light jacket over it, which I think might be the way to go, as per the photo suggestion. Even if I don't wear it to the wedding it will still be a nice dress to have for other, less formal occasions.

Unusual Shape

In the photos, I loved the dress length, straps on the shoulders and colours. When it arrived the lining was very heavy for a chiffon feel top layer, style was very full with the pleats and just felt heavy & frumpy. Wrong fabric for the style. Sadly had to return as I knew I wouldn’t wear it.

This is a very pretty dress but I think it would be quite heavy to wear on hotter days. It’s also very long on me - almost dragging on the floor if I’m not wearing heels. I’m trying to decide whether to have it shortened a bit or return it. It looks so nice and I love the pattern so I’m leaning towards keeping it since I got in on sale.
