Introducing French Linen – We have sourced a premium quality fibre from Normandy in Northern France. The French flax fibre is deemed high quality and provides a superior look and finish that feels cool and crisp even on very hot days. 

The pretty pastel hue of our Textured Linen Top will have you skipping into the new season. Part of our Virtuelle Spring Blossoms collection, this plus-size top features a lovely lavender colour. Crafted from natural linen-cotton fabric, it also boasts a stylish spliced design with loosely woven, waffle-textured panels.

  • Short sleeves (34cm in length from side neck).
  • Angled patch pocket.
  • Spliced design with loosely woven, waffle-textured fabric on pocket, left front side and right cuff.
  • Comfortable and breathable, woven, linen-cotton fabric (layering is recommended).

Inconsistent sizing

I LOVE the look of these tops and the fabric is gorgeous. Love the pocket - everything. I was so excited when ordering these but so disappointed when it/they arrived. I tried this in 3 sizes - 16, 18 and 20. I usually take a 16 in stretchy fabrics and 18 in non- stretchy. The 16 was perfect in the bust but way too tight in the hips (I am pear shaped). The 18 was also perfect in the bust but only slightly too tight in the hips. The 20 was like a tent all over. When I compared them (laying them one on top of the other), I found the 16 and 18 were identical under the arms, but the 18 was about 1 cm wider in the hips. The 20 was about 2+cm wider all over and MUCH longer. This is SO frustrating when you order online. You expect to be able to order the next size up/down and fix the “fit” problems but it is impossible when there is so much variation and inconsistency in sizing.

Baggy top

I ordered my usual size and found the fit to be quite generous, to the point of looking baggy. It was also more see through than I expected of linen. For me it just didn’t look right. I do take note of the length of garments but this top was still a bit long. Just not for me.

great for travelling

Took this overseas with me and it was perfect. Looked smarter than a t-shirt but just as comfortable but best of all it dried quickly (overnight). Shame it only comes in the two colours.
