Summer Staple

This dress shape is a summer staple. The animal print is mainly soft subtle mauve, turquoise, pink and yellow colours. The fabric is a bit heavier than previous iterations but the viscose has a linen texture. I bought my usual size 20 in the sale. It is a bit on the long side but I am only 161cm tall. The hemline at the front appears to be higher than the rest when I have it on, but by the time I have added a belt and poofed it up a bit it is not noticeable. I have marked this down as the neck hole on this one is very small so I will have to alter that.

I loved this so much I bought x2 more (in the viscose) for Europe summer travel. Easy to wear, comfy as heck and they twist up so easy in the suitcase. Great value at clearance price. I did go down a size and perfect fit.

Ive written several reviews about the various Fiesta maxi dresses that Ive purchased, basically all of them bar the black and white and the blues and white. This said animal print but I really couldnt see that. It is one of the last Ive purchased. The pattern is one of the nicest of the lot. Material is nice to touch, I will of course wear a 3/4 sleeve tee/sleevie underneath and for winter leggings, ankle boots and a cardi/coatigan... Having purchased nearly all of these, I would say this is one of the nicest patterns... surprisinly!!

I bought the red floral on clearance to travel to Europe. It’s lovely fabric, armholes are just right (they often gape a lot) and lovely shape with the pintucks. I went down one size. Will scrunchie up for easy care. I’m going to buy two more!
