Frill Linen Blend Peplum Shirt in White

As mentioned in another review, I purchased this top to go with the Luna Long Black Skirt, and will wear one of my short over the top jumpers, to get that look in some of the photos the models have displayed. I really love that look. Ive got myself a black and a red jumper and then also a red and a green lacey style over top. gives a casual but smart look which I havent tried before. true to size.

An absolutely gorgeous shirt - fit so well. Is true to size especially for pear shaped figures. Already had so many compliments. Also not too sheer- so no need to wear an under garment.

I read the review for the poor lady buying the size18 in this shirt. I’m a 24 and this style fit me very well. I’m an apple shape and this was great so don’t be disheartened. I ended up buying 2 of these as I like it more than my other white shirts. Thanks TS for all your various styles and trying to cater to us all.💕

This is a beautiful, elegant white blouse. I am a pear shape and usually buy to fit my hips rather than my bust which means most tops swim on me around the bust, shoulders and back. However, this feels like it was tailor-made for me. Thank you for this lovely, shaped white shirt. I have purchased this same blouse in the sales so if one is in the wash I have one ready to go!

I've always been a sucker for a crisp white shirt and despite the fact that I'd already purchased four other white shirts from the current range, in much the same style of shirt, my wardrobe could accommodate one more. The problem with this shirt is it's far too tight across the bust, resulting in the buttons gaping and it's unsightly. I'm pretty much a standard Size 18 in all things Taking Shape...or so I thought! My mistake was failing to try on all 5 shirts when they arrived at my home. Two shirts are far too tight around the bust, two others are too big all over and one shirt was perfect. That's the reason for me dubbing them the 'GoldilocksShirts.' It's so frustrating! I know that garments from Virtuelle tend to be a little more generous in sizing, but when only 1 in 5 shirts fit me correctly, I'm beginning to belive that I can't take sizing for granted. Surely there should be some vestige of uniformity across the board in Taking Shape's range, but it would appear to be patently untrue. Obviously, a millimetre here or 3 is usually workable (moving the buttons is an easy fix), but an 8 millimetre discrepancy is, for me, unacceptable. rnI don't believe it's unreasonable to rely on sizing: anyone who shops online must be able to rely on sizing, especially buying from the same retailer. Come on TS: please introduce and prioritise sizing uniformity. It really is not too big an ask.
