I take size 14 in T-shirts, but always buy 16 in non stretch tops such as the escape fabric and chiffon. I took a punt with this top because of the layers; 16 was not available so I bought 14. It fits well enough, firm but not tight across the bust. However, the back does ride in at the waist above my generous buttocks. 😉 I think it looks all right, but know I will probably end up being self conscious. As it was on clearance (and 40% off on top), I cannot return. Is it $53 down the drain? Size 16 is now back in stock, but at a higher price.Nevertheless the top is really lovely. It looks fabulous with the matching wide leg pants, or with plain black chiffon pants, straight pants or pleated evening pants. I’m not taking a star off because of my decision to buy the wrong size.
