Overall, a disappointment

I bought this dress sight unseen when it was a further-reduced -price clearance item.rnThe fabric is lovely and I was seduced by the gorgeous colours.rnHad I been able to try the item first I would not have made the purchase: it was a 'hold your breath and hope for the best' as the style was similar (but not similar enough it seems) to a tunic top I had purchased previously.rnThe 'Elasticated waistband with cord and tassels' in the listing was misleading. It looked like it was a drawstring (which I wanted), but it was 'just a bow tie' with no ability to draw in and tighten under the boobs.rnThe sleeves are a great length for my far than taught upper arms. Sadly, without 'set in' shoulders the deep underarm allows a peek at what is worn under the dress.rnrnMy bad. Had it not been a clearance item I would have returned it.

A really striking colour combination that's just as vivid as you see on screen! Lovely deep black and midnight background is the perfect foil for the cheerful pinks, aquas and purple flowers that are scattered over this dress! Perfect maxi length, and sleeves that nearly come to the elbow make this a perfect Summer dress!
