Weird elastic at the back

Lovely maxi dress. Pity it’s not crispy white, never mind. Elastic at the back is sitting very high- feels really weird. Unfortunately my size is sold out now, so I will keep it ( it is not very pronounced amount all that busy prints. One lady before said that her dress was ok, so maybe my is faulty?

This is a lovely piece which I wear as a dress, not a beach coverup. I wanted to comment on something a previous reviewer mentioned. I tried the dress on in-store and the waist sat weirdly at the back so I didn't buy it. As I have this dress style already, I thought I'd buy online to try it again. This one sits nicely at the waist. Hmmm ... quality control?

I was looking for a dress to wear to the races and this is perfect! Looks very classy on. Lightweight material. Perfect length. Can’t wait to bling it up with hat and accessories! Gorgeous. I bought 18-20 even though I also fit 14-16 dress size (16 normally) just because it felt more comfortable.
