The dress is pretty but very thin see through fabric. Didn’t realise before I left home and saw a reflection of myself in a window. You could see full outline of my legs. You will need to purchase a slip with this dress

I did not buy this dress last time it was on offer as I thought the print was too busy however I have really liked it on the model. I bought it this time. It is flattering and does not balloon from the waist down, as can happen in some styles made in the shiny satiny viscose fabrics. I bought it in my usual size 18 which is usually the right comfortably loose fit but this is firmer fitting (almost tight) on the upper arms and across bust. Put on a little weight or have a bigger bust than my 18D and it won’t fit! I do have broad shoulders and back and plump upper arms but I am petite. 18 is usually roomy. A bigger or taller 18 would need to size up. BTW the length is mid calf on a petite! Perfect! In fact I was going to also purchase the size 20 while on 40% off to have as well but no 20 in stock. I ran out of opportunity to ring a store and just bought a returned one online at full price as it was not available when I originally purchased my 18. It was originally showing no18 this time. I worried about the 20 and went back and refreshed the page after completing my purchase payment and checked my 1remaining in stock 20 was sold to me but now it showed 1 18 in stock. It pays to refresh your page and also to look again as returns are processed when they are received and go back in stock and when you are shopping. It is good to refresh your page as I have purchased before only to receive an email saying there was an error and there was no stock and to expect a refund. This issue might need attention and possibly updating TS.
