I suspect this is not a 'wise buy' and I'll get little wear out of the skirt, but a bit of bling for New Year's Eve may be all I need from this buy.

Glamorous

This skirt makes me feel glamorous. I’m going on a cruise in a few months and it will be so good to dance in- catching the lights. It has a lot of stretch and is very comfortable. I will wear it with a cami that covers the tummy and a sheer cardigan. It’s true to size but with the stretch you could easily size down. I wish it had come with a matching or coordinating cami. Maybe a black one with a sequin trim?

Hard to style for some body shapes

I bought a few pieces from this collection and really would've liked to have bought this skirt too. I love the colours and the way it matches with the other pieces of the range. But tube skirts are hard to style for those of us with a belly. I tried a few different options, tucks, belts, but it was just not flattering. This skirt would work better if it had some tailoring and structure, so it didn't cling. (More like the contemporary tailoring and details of the jacket.) It's a missed opportunity in this range.

Va va voom! The fit is perfect and it's really comfortable (no scratchy sequins here). Love the length. And as for the multi-coloured sequins - woo hoo!!
