When it came to sharing our latest special edition collection of Winnie the Pooh we couldn’t resist getting Chantelle in the Taking Shape studio. A huge Disney and Winnie the Pooh fan, Chantelle was the perfect person to showcase this limited edition collection and share her love of Winnie the Pooh with us.

YOU’RE A HUGE FAN OF ALL THINGS DISNEY – TELL US WHY YOU LOVE DISNEY SO MUCH?

"Oh gosh, I love Disney. Back in 2010 I had my first in-person Disney experience when I visited Disney World with my husband and daughter Lacey, who was three at the time. Walking down Main Street, I cried, and it was unexpected. It just took me back to being a child and how magical it was. I think Disney is really great at capturing that magic, and makes us really feel it. In a world that is so busy, and often stressful, Disney reminds me of all the good parts. Who doesn’t love that?"

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT WINNIE THE POOH?

"Winnie the Pooh is a character I really connected with, all the way back as a young kid. I would watch the cartoon, and just be so intrigued by how beautiful, yet complex the characters were. Pooh is so gentle and beautiful, Tigger wildly energetic, and Eeyore quite complex. As well as Piglet, who just always had my heart. I think there’s so much to learn from all the characters and their bonds, even in adulthood. As a mum, my youngest daughter Lulu loves Pooh, and it’s her favourite ride at Disneyland, so when I told her about this new collection, she thought I was the coolest mum ever!"

DO YOU HAVE A FAVOURITE WINNIE THE POOH CHARACTER?
"I can’t go past Pooh because he’s so lovable, but I do love them all, and I have such a big soft spot for Eeyore. He just needs more love!"

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT THE NEW WINNIE THE POOH COLLECTION AT TAKING SHAPE?
"True story, I only sleep in Taking Shape sleepwear now. I am converted. It’s soft and a little stretchy, and there’s nothing more comfortable. Team that fabric and design with the sweet Winnie the Pooh prints, and it’s perfection."

WHAT IS THE COMFORT LEVEL?
"Is it cheesy to say that it feels like sleeping on a cloud? It really is so comfortable. I am known for putting on my sleepwear from 3pm (I get up at 4:30am everyday so 3pm is practically night time!), so it’s a joy to put on Taking Shape sleepwear and just really relax. I always size up for total comfort!"
